The “Features” submenu contains links with detailed information on key features of the Transparent Federal Budget. A brief overview:

The community database will be the heart of the system, containing user-contributed legislation data and meta-information.

The Connect the Dots tool will be a powerful, intuitive user interface to help show connections between, say, campaign financing and legislation.

Identity and reputation will be provided using social networking tools, so that the information in the community database is credible and useful.

Social networking participation will use open standards to allows users to participate in the TFB system with their profiles on existing social networks, taking advantage of the identity and reputation they have already built.

Finally, collaboration tools will let people build on the insights they glean from the Connect the Dots tool by working together to make a difference!
